Kazablan – Live Orchestral Screening of the Beloved Film

The Legendary Soundtrack Comes to Life

The Revolution Orchestra, United King Films, and Shoval Films proudly present: Kazablan

An extraordinary cinematic experience: an orchestral screening of the iconic 1973 film “Kazablan”, starring Yehoram Gaon, accompanied by a live orchestra.

This unique experience reveals the exceptional musical qualities of the score by accomplished composer Dubi Seltzer, who collaborated with director Menahem Golan on this Israeli “West Side Story”. The cinematic classic features hits such as “Kol Hakavod,” “Yesh Makom,” “Roza,” “Kulanu Yehudim,” and many others.

The Revolution Orchestra, under the artistic direction of Zohar Sharon and Roy Oppenheim, presents a new season focused on the iconic treasures of Israeli culture in the fields of music, cinema, and poetry.

Sharon and Oppenheim: “In a year when we are fighting for our home, for the return of kidnapped citizens and displaced people to their homes, for healing the rifts within us, and for the continued self-definition of our people, we see culture as an adhesive that binds the stones and walls of our shared house —allowing us to stand strong during these difficult times.

The home of the Revolutionary Orchestra is not made of bricks, but of sounds, songs, images, and stories. In the upcoming season, we will continue our dialogue with the sources of inspiration from our home, we will unfold, listen anew, and allow our thoughts to wander in every direction. We hope that “soon this will pass, soon the light will shine” (freely adapted from Arik Einstein’s song), and “like the tree that comes back to life after autumn, something within us tells us—Continue on your path.”(adapted freely from Eli Mohar’s song)”
