Heartbeats (2012)

A musical circus for actor, orchestra, and animated film

The show is a musical-theatrical-visual creation that provides an experiential acquaintance with the elements of musical rhythm.  The absent-minded professor (actor Guy Messika), the hero of the work, tries to find his place among the members of the Revolution Orchestra, meanwhile finding himself in fictional situations.  The conductor and the orchestra members teach the professor the secret of cooperation.  The work is based on a unique Israeli animated film called “Ketzev” (Rhythm) by animator Dudu Shalita.

The show won the 2012 “Classilike” Competition initiated by Mifal HaPais for orchestral works for the entire family
