Debuted April 2, 2008, as part of the Spring Festival in Rishon LeZion.
An exciting concert of original Israeli music by the Israeli-International jazz band, Third World Love, that combines improvisation, groove, world music, and classical motifs. The concert combines original orchestral arrangements of some of the band’s instrumentals, and 4 original compositions for soloist and orchestra, like concerto pieces, that were written for each of the band’s members – Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Omer Avital (contrabass), Yonatan Avishai (piano) and Daniel Friedman (drums). The members of “Third World Love” are among the biggest names on the local and international jazz scene, and their music represents a new approach in the jazz world, with the integration of world music from different cultures in original work. The band’s music is very diverse, full of joie-de-vivre, spirituality, and danceable groove
