The Revolution Orchestra heads for another Israeli icon exploration voyage, this time with a new show, devoted entirely to Yossi Banai – the creator, signed, actor and comedian, Israel prize winner and one of Israel’s cultural giants. Joining the orchestra on stage is Banai’s lifelong stage partner – legendary actress Rivka Michaeli. Guest performances by Anya Bukstein and Avi Grainik, both singing and acting.
Following magical Re:Play format evenings devoted to “The Roosters” and the “Gashash” ensembles, The Revolution Orchestra embarks on a voyage to explore the marvelous songs, sketches and scenes Banai has created through the years. Connecting the famous tunes with new pieces inspired by them and integrating rare videos showcasing Banai’s beloved stage characters, the Revolution Orchestra creates an evening full of humor and longing to the legendary artist.
