B-Side – Rimon and The Revolution Orchestra

As part of their work at Rimon – School of Music, Zohar Sharon and Roy Oppenheim, artistic directors of The Revolution Orchestra, guided Rimon’s 2025 graduation project, marking the school’s 40th anniversary. In this project, third-year students from Rimon’s Contemporary Writing and Production for Stage and Screen program delved into the debut albums of Rimon graduates from across the years. They selected standout songs, arranged them for orchestra, and reinterpreted them with a fresh and original artistic approach. The performance features bold and unique renditions of songs by Eti Ankri, Achinoam Nini, Aviv Geffen, Miri Mesika, Keren Peles, Nunu, Aya Korem, Efrat Gosh, Ariel Horovitz, Eran Tzur, Benya Barbi, Karolina, Mika Karni, Lola Marsh, Eryk Berman, and Alon Eder.

The concert is presented as part of the annual event of the Nir Foundation, established in memory of Nir Diskin (R.I.P.). The Nir Foundation works to strengthen social resilience in Israel through educational connections between children and youth from diverse backgrounds – secular and religious Jews, Arabs, Druze, and others. Participants communicate through a dedicated and innovative social network developed by the foundation, based on a unique educational model. The foundation’s programs have been implemented in the Israeli education system for many years, reaching over 30,000 children who have built mutual trust and reduced prejudice through these encounters.
