Angels In America – Parts A and B
An exciting tragic-comic fantasy, taking place during the height of the AIDS pandemic in late 80’s New York city. Eight characters seek their redemption while dangling between life and death, love and sex, and heaven and hell.
Tony Kushner’s remarkable masterpiece has been showcased across the globe, adapted to a successful television series, and honored with multiple awards (including a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize). In 2023, both parts were launched in a breathtaking production at the Cameri Theater, accompanied by the renowned Revolution Orchestra, led by maestro Roy Oppenheim. Following the great storm of the first part, the second part of the play takes place at a unique intimate space, enabling an arms length distance from the plot unfolding before our very eyes.
The production was made possible with the generous support of Yuval and Michal Rakavy abd Diti And Alex Landsberg.
